Hi Class!
We are going to have a lot of fun with our Hurricane Papers.
We are going to learn a bunch of cool facts about how Hurricanes are formed, how they get to the United States, what happens when one reaches land, how people prepare for landfall, what happens to the town after the hurricane blows through.
After you're written your reports and given them in class, we will publish them on our class Blog for all your family and friends to read!

Hi Class,
Our writing project for next week will be on the following topic:
Describe your perfect Saturday.
You can go anywhere you want and do anything you want. Tell me what the day would be like. Is it fall, summer, winter or fall. What are you doing? Who is with you? What food are you eating? How do you feel?
Monday: We'll use our planning map to plan out the piece.
Tuesday: We'll actually write the piece.
Wednesday: We'll edit the piece by adding more detail and description; expounding on sections; checking punctuation and spelling; and make sure the piece creates pictures in the reader's mind.
Thursday: We'll re-write our piece.
Friday: We'll present our pieces to the rest of the class.
I can hardly wait to find out what your Saturday will look like!
